Mr. Patel joined Sierra Monolithics as President and CEO in October, 2006. Most recently he was with Quake Technologies, a 10Gb Ethernet semiconductor company, which was acquired by AMCC.

Prior to Quake Technologies, he spent several years in senior management positions at ANADIGICS, Tropian, and WJ Communications addressing wireless handset and infrastructure markets, as well as optical communication and CATV markets.

Mr. Patel holds BSEE and MSEE degrees from the University of Kansas and an MBA degree from Drexel University.
